Our caregivers offer companionship and help around the house.
Your loved ones’ health and safety may be at risk if they are often left alone at home while they live with aging, an injury, or a physical limitation—or, they may just feel lonely and isolated. If you cannot be there to spend time with them as often as you would like, then you can rely on Royalty and Blessings Home Care to provide them with the care and companionship they need.
We offer the following in-home companionship and care services:
Companionship and Conversation
We recognize that maintaining a social life is one way to help our clients have a better quality of life. As such, our caregivers offer our clients conversation and company during social activities. Companionship and conversation can prevent elderly isolation.
Our caregivers can assist the kitchen as needed. They are experienced at cooking food that is suitable for each client’s dietary requirements. Our clients are given the choice to help the caregivers prepare meals, which promotes social interaction.
Our caregivers can fulfill our clients’ laundry-related needs. The help they extend includes washing, drying, putting away, and ironing the laundry.
In order to give our clients an environment that is suitable to their health and safety, our caregivers perform light housekeeping tasks, such as:
- Cleaning the kitchen and bathroom
- Emptying Trash
- Straightening rooms
The housekeeping services that will be provided to your loved ones are based on the results of the initial assessment.
Grocery Shopping and Running Errands
Our caregivers can do the grocery shopping of our clients as well as run the errands that have become too difficult or overwhelming for them to do. Our clients can opt to stay at home while our caregivers do their errands or they may choose to accompany them.
If a client is unable to drive, our caregivers will be there to transport them to their medical appointments or to bring them to places they would like to go to such as to the hair salon or mall. This service promotes our clients’ physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Our caregivers cannot administer medications to our clients, although this depends on the caregiver assigned to them. Our caregivers help with opening medicine containers, reading the labels of medications, and reminding the clients when their next scheduled dose, in accordance with their prescription, is.
Grooming and Hygiene
We help our clients who experience physical challenges for reasons such as aging, having a disability, or recovering from an injury. Based on each patient’s individual care plan, our caregivers can assist with:
- Shampooing, combing, and styling hair
- Shaving with an electric razor
- And other grooming and hygiene needs
